With a view to advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of human rights, this meeting will discuss the role of poverty alleviation in promoting and protecting human rights, with the participation of senior officials from States to share good practices and experience in their countries with regard to particular aspects of the promotion and protection of human rights. The meeting is also aimed at encouraging States to take this opportunity to share information and facilitate relevant technical cooperation.
